Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Currency Regulation”, “On Commercial Secrets”, “On State Registration and State Register of Legal Entities”, “On Banks”, “On Insurance Activities”, “On Non-Bank Credit Organizations”, “On Investment Funds”, “On Securities Market”, “On Combating the Legalization of Property Acquired by Crime and the Financing of Terrorism” and “On Payment Services and Payment Systems”

Article 12. Transitional provisions

12.1. The identification of their beneficial owners by legal entities that have passed state registration before the entry into force of this Law, as well as the identification of beneficial owners of a foreign legal entity by a representative office and branch of a foreign legal entity, and the submission of information and documents on this to the state register of legal entities in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Registration and State Register of Legal Entities” shall be ensured in the following stages:

12.1.1. for large business entities until December 31, 2025;

12.1.2. for medium-sized business entities until June 30, 2026;

12.1.3. for small business entities until December 31, 2026;

12.1.4. for micro-business entities until December 31, 2027;

12.1.5. for non-governmental organizations and religious institutions until June 30, 2026.
